The NUTS have opened up membership in our club. Any previous members who had a National RV can now rejoin regardless of their present motorhome manufacture. Also other non-National RV motorhome owners can join the NUTS with the sponsorship of an existing member. Details can be found on the Newsletter page - Issue 44, January 2008, pages 3 and 9.

Fall Rally Notes

Bob Corbett
We are saddened to inform you of the passing of one of our fellow NUTS, Bob Corbett. If we could make our November rally a special thanksgiving and remembrance of Bob and Sue’s work it would be a great tribute to them and to all the work they did to make our rallies special occasions. Apparently Sue will not be attending our future rallies but maybe someone near her could bring her along for this one so we can show her our support during her period of adjustment.

Entertainment
Our entertainment at the Fall Rally will again be Keith Manson on Thursday night from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Seminar
Greg Williams of Classic Coach Works, a coach rebuilder/rejuvenator, will conduct an hourlong seminar on Thursday at 1:00 pm.

Tampa RV Supershow

The Tampa Supershow has been a heavily attended event for a number of years. It is compact, but a big show with a large number of RV's on display, vendors and entertainment. Located at the Tampa Fairgrounds, the official dates for this show are January 14-18, 2009. The price remains the same as last year for pre registration, $130. The method of payment is check, money order, and for the first time this year, you can call 1 813 741 0488, and use your credit card. You can visit the website www.frvta.org for information and registration form. You will receive confirmation by mail. We cannot strongly stress upon you enough, to make your plans early as each year fills up earlier and earlier. Last year it was filled December 1st. So please get your reservations in prior to November 15th. The fees will include, caravaning in, 5 nights of camping for two, 4 nights with 30 amp electric, free unlimited access to the RV show, 3 nights of entertainment and refreshments. This year it will be Rick Arnold Show, a one man band with oldies, country music and rock and roll; Music City Brass, audience participation and laughs; and Ron & Kay Rivoli, music and laughs. There will be coffee and donuts each morning, and of course the NUTS happy hour each evening. For those who will attend with the NUTS group, we plan on moving in a day early, (January 13th), meeting at the staging area located inside the entrance on Orient Road. We want to be in the staging area before 10 AM so we can be parked together. We can disconnect our tow cars in the staging area. Remember, you need to arrive with a full water tank, and holding tanks empty. If you plan on attending with the NUTS caravan, please contact the Rankins, 305 238 2277, or grankin@prodigy.net so we will know how many coaches to expect. Once all have arrived at the staging area, we can be parked. Last year we had 26 NUT coaches. Following this Supershow there is the NUTS rally at Glades RV Park in Moore Haven, January 23-26, 2009. So start making your plans now!
