From the First VP - Craft Volunteers Needed:
Margaret Schwalen taught a class in making lovely crystal beaded bracelets and earrings. Everyone loved the
class and hope for future ones.
Decorations were great centerpieces for each table made from all sorts of different items. And we had a fun Hat
parade with prizes. Some of the hats were quite funny and so everyone got to laugh and applaud the hat parade.
Next rally in the fall the theme will be sports so anyone who has a sports outfit or special hat should come
prepared to enter the costume parade!!
Carrying out the sports theme, Winnie Williams will teach decoupage on plates with a sports theme as design.
Will be easy and lots of fun.
The last rally was a great success, we all liked the area and the campground had a great room for us to have all our
activities. Looking forward to seeing everyone in the fall.
I have been organizing the crafts since Brook Low wanted to find someone else to set things up. I am happy to
do the coordination but I really need all you talented gals to step up and let me know if you would share your
talent at future rallies. Will look forward to hearing from you crafters.

Discount Card - I recently received an email from Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas. They are offering a 10% -
20% card to our members who may have that area in their travel plans. So I am passing along their
information for the benefit of our NUTS members -
Contact tbarr@myrvoasis.com at Oasis RV Resort and request a VIP card. You need to include name, mailing
address and FMCA chapter affiliation (National United Travelers). All NUTS members qualify for a 10% site
discount (Bronze VIP card). If you are a present or past NUTS officer, then you qualify for their Silver VIP card
(20% site discount).
The cards are free! So if your travels include the Amarillo area, you can save a little and stay at a Woodall
5W/4W or Trailer Life 9/9*/9 resort! Les

NUTS Membership Change
The NUTS have opened up membership in our club. Any previous members who had a National RV can now rejoin regardless of their present motor home manufacture. Also other non-National RV motor home owners can join the NUTS with the sponsorship of an existing member. Details can be found on the Newsletter page - Issue 44, January 2008, pages 3 and 9.
